The cool walls of the cavern provide sanctuary from the many horrors of the Underdark, for a time at least. Time enough, perhaps, for a brief rest in this pocket of frozen solace. The spark of flint glints off both silvered blade and crimson eyes. In moments a fire begins to crackle with life. Soon the mysterious figure would need to move on. Pausing for long in any place down here is to court death. But for now they rest. Pulling forth a tattered spellbook, they put to practice once more the wards that have kept them alive so far. They would be needed again before long.
